What About Remodeling Just a Shower?

We get a lot of request to just convert a tub/shower to a stand alone shower without changing the floor tile or vanity. This can be done but since the shower is the most complicated part of the bathroom (requiring, waterproofing, plumbing and tile work) it typically costs between $18,000 and $22,000.

An alternative might be to install a fiberglass or Onyx shower in place of a tub/shower. That could lower the costs to $8000 to $12,000.

Master Bathroom Remodeling Costs

Master bathrooms can vary widely but for this guide we are going to assume they are 12’x20′ with a separate shower and tub. The toilet is also in a separate room and vanity will have two sinks.

One of our most popular remodels it to remove the large spa tubs popluar some years ago and expand the existing shower.
